Draw one card
Every turn starts with a draw. One new card might complete a set, fill a run, or be the card you discard.
Build sets or runs
Make groups of matching ranks or same-suit sequences. Round wild cards and jokers can stand in for missing cards.
Discard and finish low
If all your cards form valid groups, you can go out. Everyone else gets one final turn to lay off cards and reduce their score.

Is Thirteen free to play?
Yes. Thirteen is free to download on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
How many people can play Thirteen?
Two to six players can share a game. You can also practice on your own against a bot at any time.
How many rounds are in a game of Thirteen?
Eleven. The first round deals three cards and threes are wild. Each round adds a card and moves the wild card up, until round 13, when everyone is dealt thirteen cards and kings are wild.
Which cards are wild?
Jokers are always wild. Every card that matches the round number is wild too: threes in round 3, sevens in round 7 and kings in round 13.
What counts as a set or a run?
A set is three or more cards of the same rank. A run is three or more cards of the same suit in order. Aces can be low or high in a run, but a run cannot wrap from king to ace to two.
How does scoring work?
When a round ends, the cards you could not fit into sets or runs count against you. Number cards score face value, jacks, queens and kings score 10, and aces score 15. Wild cards and jokers score nothing, and the player who went out scores 0. The lowest total after round 13 wins.
Can I play with just my family or friends?
Yes. Every game has a short join code. Share it with the people you want to play with and they can join you directly.
Do I need to learn every rule before I start?

What is Three Thirteen?
Three Thirteen, also written 3-13, is the traditional name of this rummy game. Thirteen is the online version: the same 11 rounds, from 3 cards to 13, with the wild card climbing each round.
